The Nelli plant, also known as Indian Gooseberry, is a hardy fruit plant that produces small green fruits packed with vitamin C and known for their health benefits. This is a budded plant, so it can start fruiting earlier—usually within 2–3 years.
It needs full sunlight to grow well and can be planted in the ground or grown in medium to large pots. Use well-drained soil and water it regularly, allowing the topsoil to dry slightly between waterings.
Feeding the plant with a balanced fertilizer every 4–6 weeks will help it stay healthy and produce good fruit. A great pick for those who love traditional, nutrient-rich fruits at home!
