Acalypha Wilkesiana, also known as Copperleaf, is a bold and colourful shrub admired for its large, crinkled leaves in shades of copper, red, bronze, and green. It brings a tropical flair to gardens and is perfect for bright borders, statement hedges, or potted displays.
This plant thrives in full sun, which enhances its vibrant colours, and prefers well-draining soil with regular watering. It grows well in Sri Lanka’s warm climate and benefits from light pruning to maintain its shape.
Feed with a balanced fertilizer every 4–6 weeks to support healthy growth and vivid foliage.
