The Evata Yellow Plant, also known for its compact growth and vibrant trumpet-shaped flowers, brings a sunny, tropical charm to any garden or patio. This plant is perfect for adding a pop of colour to beds, borders, or containers. It’s easy to grow and thrives with minimal care.  

Growing Style - Evata grows as a small, bushy shrub, ideal for poly bags, pots, or directly in garden beds. It looks beautiful when used in clusters, as a low hedge, or even in decorative containers on balconies or verandahs.

Watering - Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the topsoil to dry slightly between waterings, especially during the rainy season to avoid root issues. 

Fertilizing - Feed every 3–4 weeks with a balanced fertilizer to encourage continuous flowering. You can also use organic compost, cow dung, to boost overall plant health and flower production in Sri Lanka’s tropical conditions. 

Light & Temperature - Performs best in full sun to partial shade, with at least 4–6 hours of sunlight daily. The plant thrives in Sri Lanka’s warm and humid climate, and tolerates both coastal and inland growing conditions well.
