Root Balled Atteriya Tree

Plant Height - 8 to 10 feet 

The Atteriya Tree also known as 'Sudu Nidikumba' in Sinhala, is a graceful small tree or large shrub known for its fragrant white star-shaped flowers and lush green foliage. Widely admired for its beauty and gentle scent, Atteriya is often used in temple gardens, courtyards, and serene landscapes across Sri Lanka. Supplied as a root balled tree, it is ready for direct planting in your garden or outdoor space.

Growing Style - This tree grows to a medium height and has a naturally upright, rounded shape. It’s ideal for planting in home gardens, pathways, courtyards, or public spaces. Suitable for both formal and natural garden designs. 

Watering - Water thoroughly after planting to help the roots establish. Continue to water regularly during the first few months, especially in dry weather. Once established, it becomes more drought-tolerant, though occasional watering is still beneficial. 

Fertilizing - Feed every 4–6 weeks during the growing season using a balanced fertilizer. For a more natural approach, apply organic compost, cow dung, to support healthy root development and flowering. 

Light & Temperature - Performs best in full sun to partial shade. It thrives in Sri Lanka’s warm, tropical climate, including both lowland and mid-country zones. Ensure it gets at least 4–6 hours of sunlight daily for optimal blooming and growth.
