The Philodendron Congo Red plant will thrive in bright, indirect light but will be perfectly fine in extremely low levels of sunlight as well. Avoid placing it in direct sun. Water the plant when the top inch of soil is dry. Water moderately and regularly so that the soil is consistently moist, but not soggy. Clean the leaves occasionally by wiping them down with a soft, damp cloth.
