The Hibiscus White Leaves, also known as Variegated Hibiscus, is an ornamental shrub admired for its striking white-and-green variegated leaves. This variety is perfect for decorative landscaping and tropical garden themes.
Growing Style - Grows as a medium to large shrub, suitable for poly bags, garden beds, or pots. It can be used as a standalone feature, grown into a hedge, or combined with flowering plants to enhance texture and colour contrast in the garden.
Watering - Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Ensure proper drainage, especially if grown in containers or bags.
Fertilizing - Apply a balanced fertilizer in every 3–4 weeks to promote healthy foliage and occasional flowering. Organic compost or cow dung can be added monthly to improve soil structure and enhance variegation in Sri Lanka’s tropical climate.
Light & Temperature - Performs best in full sun to partial shade. Full sun enhances leaf variegation, while some afternoon shade may help prevent leaf burn in very hot, dry conditions. It thrives in warm and humid weather, ideal for most parts of Sri Lanka.
