The Haritha variety is a local, high-yielding type that produces tender, bright green pods with excellent flavor and texture. How to Grow Okra Haritha:

1. Soil Preparation – Use well-draining, fertile soil enriched with organic compost.
2. Sowing Seeds – Plant seeds ½ inch deep, spacing them 12-18 inches apart in rows.
3. Watering – Water regularly, keeping the soil moist but avoiding waterlogging.
4. Sunlight & Care – Requires full sun (6-8 hours daily). Occasional organic fertilization helps in better yield.
5. Weeding & Maintenance – Keep the area weed-free and prune excess leaves to encourage better pod formation.

Harvest Time:
Okra Haritha starts producing within 60-70 days after planting. Harvest the pods when they are 3-5 inches long for the best tenderness and taste.
